About the Company

ESL grew out of a desire to establish a professional agency based in Eastern Washington to support individuals with mental, physiological, behavioral, physical and/or developmental disabilities, and wanting them to be able to live in their own homes. The entire focus of ESL is to create individual homes that have an environment built specifically for each of our individuals/residents. Our homes are providing individuals with the ability to make their own choices related to living and interacting with others within their home and their communities.
 
Salary:

Experience:
  • DSP, Direct Support Care: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Caregiving, Direct Patient Care: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Direct Care Work: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR), NAC, HCA and/or Nurse Delegation (Preferred not required)
 
Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years or older (Required)
  • Driver's License or Proof of Identification (Required)
  • Background Check (Required)
  • High School Diploma, GED or higher (Required)
  • TB Test (Required)
  • CPR/1st Aid, BBP, HIV/AIDS certification (Can be obtained within the first 30 days of employment)
  • Therapeutic Options Right Response (Can be obtained within the first 30 days of employment)
  • 1163 Certificate or Exemption Letter (Preferred but not required)
 
Job Summary:
The Direct Support Professional is responsible for a variety of duties related to the overall care of individuals with developmental disabilities. The role of a DSP is more than just helping someone with their daily activities, it is assisting someone to live a meaningful life. Direct care is a valuable career that not only changes the lives of the individuals you support, but also changes your life, too! Direct Support Professionals are required to perform all duties in accordance with Excel Supported Living, Inc. policies and procedures, WAC, and RCW.

  • Lift 50lbs+
